According to supplier, the different type of series is only applicable for converter like them only. This is to ensure supplier is buying the correct XE that can be used for their printing methods.
Example, if they are using silkscreen to print, so they can use all 3 series: solvent based screen printing ink. If they are using digital print method, then they have to buy the 0 series only.
The primer is a coating on top of the XE PET which will allow the ink to anchor onto the PET surface.
End customer don’t have to state the 0;3;7 series in the drawing, just state Autotex XE will do. And for this particular label part, all 3 series can be used.
Usually the 0 series, 200mic thickness ones are the most commonly use in the market & they have other customers that currently using the same material.
